Join a cohort of 6–9 experienced psychedelic facilitators for a multi-month programme combining live online classes with a five-night, six-day experiential learning retreat.

Explore adaptive facilitation and dynamic dosing, learn alongside experienced peers, and develop a more nuanced approach to assessing and responding to each participant’s unfolding process.

A Wider Territory Calls for a Wider Range of Response

This Training Is For...

✓ ESTABLISHED 5-MEO-DMT FACILITATORS

✓ PSYCHEDELIC THERAPISTS

✓ CLINICIANS AND RESEARCHERS

For 5 facilitators seeking more nuanced approaches to dosing, adaptive facilitation, and ongoing therapeutic relationships.

Psychedelic-assisted therapists (PATs) working with other medicines who also have personal experience with 5-MeO-DMT.

Clinicians who work, or have worked, in clinical trials (Phase 1, 2, or 3) or researchers who have administered the substance to study participants who also have personal experience with 5-MeO-DMT.

This training is designed for experienced facilitators who have already developed an offering, regardless of the pathway that brought them there. Formal training, Low 5 workshops, mentorship, clinical experience, apprenticeship, or years of field practice are all possible foundations.

✓ EXPERIENCED GUIDES

what is Threshold Dynamics?

Threshold Dynamics™ is a theoretical framework that maps the ego structure and categorizes unconscious material.

It outlines a more precise way of perceiving the nuances that unfold during experiences and responding accordingly, with both low and high doses. The curriculum combines theoretical study, case analysis, and application of the conceptual framework in a practical, experiential learning context. Beyond what this makes possible within a single session, the format supports a longitudinal approach to facilitation, combining both psycholytic and psychedelic approaches. By meeting clients at different thresholds within a session as well as across repeated encounters, facilitators can build stronger therapeutic alliances, offer a coherent developmental arc, and foster ongoing relationships for continued session work.

Meet Each Participant Where They Are
Dose by Dose, Session by Session

The curriculum:

Threshold Dynamics™

Learn the theoretical model in virtual classes before arriving at the retreat with the course manual and workbook and explore its application potential with small peer pods. Study different forms of unconscious material and examine the distinctions between surrender and submission, dissociation and transcendence.

01.

Adaptive Facilitation + Dynamic Dosing

Develop a more responsive approach to dosing and participant assessment. Learn to recognize a participant’s capacity for continued dosing and move beyond templated dosing models toward more flexible facilitation. Explore how dose, timing, responsiveness, relationship, and what is unfolding in the moment inform the decisions that follow.

02.

Live practicum + case review

Analyze real cases and discuss decision-making with experienced peers. Witness and exchange intervention methods with facilitators from different professional, therapeutic, and ceremonial backgrounds. Prepare for the experiential retreat in small-group pods focused on intake and preparation.

03.

Supervized Experiential Learning

Apply the framework during the in-person retreat through supervized practice, observation, and reflection. Refine your somatic tracking. Explore when and how to intervene, how to guide empowered surrender without forcing submission, and how to build therapeutic relationships that continue over time, grounded in attunement and alliance.

What a blessing it was to get to learn from a master practitioner directly! To receive years of experience distilled and synthesised into the most recent version of Chad’s practice was an invaluable gift. To get to witness him work his craft in real time, experience the container of co-visibility amongst peers, and receive direct feedback from Chad and my fellow practitioners was pivotal in up-levelling my practice.

—  Andrew

FACILITATORS WHO HAVE TRAINED WITH CHAD HAVE SAID...

I joined the training for a few reasons — to deepen my practice with the pens, be in those rich breakdowns and first-hand experience moments where the learning is so rich, and make new connections and allyships within this space. I feel like I received all of those things in spades and hope to continue to deepen friendships and connections beyond this training with those present.

— Shane

The slow, steady inquiry that I learned has served my clients and myself in numerous ways. I pay attention to every interaction I have with my clients and look for growth opportunities. I see so many more opportunities now

— Sarah

The USD $1,000 deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel on or after the first day of the training, full payment remains due.

If your application is accepted, the deposit is paid, and your acceptance is subsequently revoked, the deposit will be refunded in full, minus transaction/conversion fees.

Deposit payment details are provided during or after the call with Chad.

back

what is the cancellation policy?

The training is open to:

Established 5-MeO-DMT facilitators, or
Psychedelic-assisted therapists with personal experience with 5-MeO-DMT, or
Experienced psychedelic guides working with other medicines who have personal experience with 5-MeO-DMT,
or Clinicians and researchers who work—or have worked—in clinical trials (Phase 1, 2, or 3) or research studies and have personal experience with 5-MeO-DMT, or Graduates of 5-MeO-DMT facilitator training programs seeking to deepen their existing work.

An example of one of these institutions is F.I.V.E. where chad is a guest teacher, a featured mentor and integration specialist, as well as being on the advisory board. It is not intended for people with no experience facilitating psychedelic or medicine-assisted sessions, no personal experience with 5-MeO-DMT, or those seeking introductory facilitator training. For those with little or no experience administering 5-MeO-DMT to others, additional and simultaneous mentorship may be offered as a condition to admission to the training.

If you are unsure whether your background is appropriate, schedule a call with Chad.

back

i'm new to offering 5-meO-DMT. what are the conditions to apply?

Yes. There will be a certificate of completion in Threshold Dynamics and Dynamic Dosing.

back

is there a certificate?

This cohort is for established facilitators who already have a developed offering. It is not a foundational facilitator training.

An example of an entry-level program is F.I.V.E.’s facilitator training, where Chad is a guest teacher and advisor. The Conclave’s Considerations for Practitioner Guidance Relationships can also help clarify the differences among mentorships, apprenticeships, and trainings.

back

i want to become a facilitator. can i join?

Yes—but only if you are interested in learning to work with vape pens. Chad’s practice uses vape pens as the delivery device, and that is what will be used and taught during the training.

Most of the teachings are also applicable to facilitators working with other 5-MeO-DMT delivery devices.

back

i use toad medicine, can i still join?

Payment plans are available for two participants and are granted in the order applications are received.

The payment plan is:
USD $1,000 deposit paid in full

USD $1,000 second payment in cash on the first day of training
USD $250 monthly transfers until tuition is paid in full
